Spiritual Sight

Fact: You don’t have any problems.  All you need is faith in God.  This is something you cannot comprehend with your natural mind.

 Confess Your Desires by Faith

In Mark 8:22, Jesus laid hands on a man twice as He healed him from blindness. This is the only recording where a healing did not come at His first command.  Do you wonder why?  In this particular healing, Jesus was teaching this blind man about his faith and confession.  In the first healing, the man said that he saw men that looked like trees (he wasn’t seeing what Jesus wanted him to see).  But in the second healing, the man saw clearly.

Jesus was teaching us not to settle for a partial healing.  He was also teaching us to say what we truly want to see.  But in order for us to say what we want to see, we need progressive faith.  Don’t settle for the occasional headache, a slight pain or that minor problem.  The devil is an opportunist looking for any platform to elevate us to more hardship.

 20/20 Vision

Do you see what God sees?   Do you see yourself healed, delivered, and living in abundance—all the time?   If so, then you are seeing clearly.  Don’t let challenges and doubt distort your vision.  Maintain your faith by hearing the Word, confessing victory and closing your ears to fear.  If you view life with your physical eyes only, your spiritual vision will get blurry fast.  Therefore, keep your eyes on God (2 Kings 6:17).

Grow Your Faith, Don’t Kill It

The Lord sees you as a faith champion.  You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus!  Speak your victory into existence.  This means that you can’t just say anything.  Phrases like, “I’m sick,” “I’m losing my mind,” or “I’m dead tired” slaughter your faith.  Build your faith up; keep it strong!  Develop it by believing God for an extraordinary miracle.  Keep naysayers from speaking doubt in your life. Stop living naturally; instead live in the spirit.  Remember that nothing is too bizarre for God to deliver your from.  After all, it was His original plan for you to live a victorious life.

He is waiting on you to believe in Him (Ephesians 2:3).

Effective Prayers

Your Prayers Can Make a Difference

 Know Who You Are

The frustrations of life and attacks from the enemy will try to make you to forget who you are. But through salvation, you are the righteousness of God! In fact, you are as righteous today as you will ever be.  Jesus gave His life to make you blameless, and now the Lord sees you and Him the same.  You have access to all of the kingdom benefits which includes your position in God.

Your position of righteousness comes with kingdom authority.  This means that your prayers are powerful and effective.  Did you know that God sends angels to do your bidding?  Remember Jacob’s vision of the angels gliding up and down the stairway to Heaven?  Because of the new covenant, you don’t need stairs.  When you pray, your requests soar straight up to heaven!  So, don’t to be timid in your prayers (Galatians 3:26).  Instead, approach the Lord boldly (Hebrews4:16).

 Why Pray?

Prayer is key because God needs your requests to legally accomplish things on earth.  He gave the earth to Christians to manage, but in order for Him to intervene, we have to ask.  Additionally, prayer is worship; it’s talking and listening to God.  Prayer brings His will to the earth.  Your conversations with the Lord make you transparent before Him.  This is how you receive peace.  As you speak with and listen to the Lord, you can give all of your concerns to Him.  No need to go through life blind and confused, because prayer provides you with future knowledge, clarity, instruction and direction.  The Lord wants to help you avoid disaster and give you accurate responses to life’s challenges.  In your prayers, you can discover His glorious presence, and be saved not only from Hell, but hell on earth.

 What Does Prayer Need?

FAITH! Prayer is ineffective without it.  Ignore what the devil is doing. You have authority over him!  Keep your faith and focus on the Lord.   As you plant seeds of prayer in your life (while watering them with faith and godly confession), you will receive blessings from the Lord of the harvest.  Sadly, many Christians get partial blessings, because they don’t maintain a consistent prayer life.  Be sure to use all of the power of your prayer, so you can get the total blessing.

God has heard enough of the survival prayers.  He wants you to speak to Him with passion, detail, and a heart for others.  Remember the prayer of Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:10)?  You can step out of your generation when you pray, and change your future.

1 Chronicles 4:10
Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.

Remember to always pray the “God kind” of prayers.  Pray until you are amazed at the blessing!  Prayer without limitations makes your course steady.
