How to Spot a Demon

Fact: Demons love to hide, and they pretend not to exist. No one in the midst of you should be oppressed by a demon because you should be living a kingdom life. If you see a demon in your area, cast it out!

Christians cannot be possessed by demons if they have the Holy Spirit in their lives. However, demons may be around us and try to influence us in negative ways. Is there a demonic activity taking place in your life? View the list at the bottom to find out.

Profile of Demonic Activity

· You live a “tore up” lifestyle.
· Your home is dysfunctional.
· You have only known lack/poverty.
· You have a problem with lust, and you are married…or single.
· You are unstable and restless.
· You see the negative in everything and are never happy.
· You can’t hold a job.
· You fight all the time and with everyone around you.
· You are sleeping with a person that you are not married to (fornication).

Good News and Clues!

John 10:10 (The Message Bible) says, “A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.” This means that you can live a victorious life over demonic activity. Satan should have no place in your life. Below is a grid that lists the names of demons, and how they enter a person’s life.

This spirit enters through low self esteem and lack of impartation of the Word of God. This spirit is present when a person has no power in their life; they are like an empty house. Luke 11:24

· Sexual Addiction

· Abusers

This is spirit loves people that can be tempted to do one behavior. The behavior is pleasurable and focuses on a person’s weakness.

This is spirit carries a scapegoat mentality and does not like to take responsibility. Gives a reason to disobey God and not to feel God.

Drives people to make bad choices. This demon hides in loneliness and hates the anointing that is found in Christian fellowship.

This spirit drives people to make ungodly choices due to exaggerated feelings about self. It puts self-above everybody else. The spirit of pride is often found in gifted people.

Manipulates people. It’s the macho personality that does whatever it needs to keep control over others. Matthew 10:37

This spirit is found in absence of restraint and discipline. This spirit often abuses relationships and never shows love.

This spirit causes one to always be guarded. Lying is more comfortable than telling the truth.

Soul Tie
Connected to a person who is controlled by a demon. Often found in relationships between people who are engaged in fornication. Demonic spirits often transfer between partners. The spirit of control is often present between people with ungodly soul ties.

This is the birthplace of anger, violence and murder. The consequences of unforgivness are going to Hell. Unforgiveness will distort your personality. Hebrews 12:14, Matthew 6:14

This personality holds pride against women and dishonors women.

This spirit makes people blind to the blessings of God. People who are unthankful often abuse what they are given by attacking, loosing and leaving their blessings.

This spirit came after Jesus and nailed Him to the cross. Religious spirits judge everybody and cause division in the body of Christ. Ironically, religious spirits are attracted to the move of God, but try to hinder it. They are known for infiltrating the body of Christ through words. Matthew 3:7, Matthew 12:30, 1 John 2:19. In the Bible, Jesus often referred to the Sadducees and Pharisees as a brood of vipers. Like serpents, they plant their eggs of vice in empty, vulnerable locations. Keep your heart full of the Word, so the spirit of religion won’t be planted in you!

Detoxify Your Spirit: Casting Demons Out
1. Get the Word of God in your heart daily.
2. Make sure you have been filled with Holy Spirit along with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.
3. Cast the devil out of your life when you see him trying to creep in. Bind him in the name of Jesus.
4. Forgive always (Forgiveness brings favor and the backing of God in your life).
5. Know who you are (Your identity is in Jesus Christ, and in Him you have been made a new creature).

Live a victorious life—the kingdom life that you were destined for!
